What can be better than great golf with great friends on a beautiful August weekend?  Probably only the start of college football at the end of this month.  But, let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

I met most of these guys 20 years ago, we were Sigma Chis at the University of Georgia.  Add in few neighbors, brothers and my father-in-law and you get a recipe of golf, beer, grilling and more golf in a friendly, but very competitive golf tournament.

I feel very blessed to have been associated with this group for so long.  We have many very successful businessmen, bankers, entrepreneurs and sales guys in our group.  Most of all, these men are successful in life by being dedicated husbands and loving fathers.

Georgia state park course.  But don’t let that feeling of a municipal course fool you.  Arrowhead Pointe was recently ranked the 6th best municipal course in the nation by GolfWeek.  To put this in perspective for you golfers, Bethpage (Black), where the USGA has held the US Open is ranked #1.  Arrowhead Pointe is ranked right below Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California and ahead of such courses as Indian Wells Golf Resort.

Quite simply, I tried to take as many video clips as I could throughout the weekend.  It can get tedious, as I was doing my best at “being subtle”.  I appreciate the guys being accepting of the ever-present camera and distractions that I caused.  The result is a pretty good slice of a golf video that we will all be able to remember for years to come.
